Includes a bonus chapter!

This book bored me to bones. I was constantly waiting for something to happen. Nothing happened unless you count last few chapters. I was so disappointed with the sequel. Sure, Damen and Laurent together conquered a fort, planned strategies, and done stupid yet bold things. But those didn’t particularly excite me. And the specialty is Laurent learned to trust Damen’s opinions. Betrayals and the revelations of truth were hard to swallow. It took a long time for Laurent to trust Damen but I’m scared of what will happen when the truth(who Damen really was) finally hit him. It will completely shatter him. Because you know how Laurent was. He never respects anyone unless they seemed worthy in his eyes. His words are always twisted and I enjoy the pleasure of deciphering it. Slowly and surely Damen fell for Laurent’s charms. Laurent is always conscious, self aware and especially shy when it comes to show his feelings.

MY RATING: Dreadful
