Game of Thrones meets the Grimm's fairy tales in this twisted, fast-paced romantic fantasy-adventure about Sleeping Beauty's daughter, a warrior princess who must fight to reclaim her throne.

Though she looks like a mere mortal, Princess Aurora is a fairy blessed with enhanced strength, bravery, and mercy yet cursed to destroy the free will of any male who kisses her. Disguised as a boy, she enlists the help of the handsome but also cursed Prince Niklaas to fight legions of evil and free her brother from the ogre queen who stole Aurora's throne ten years ago.

Will Aurora triumph over evil and reach her brother before it's too late? Can Aurora and Niklaas break the curses that will otherwise forever keep them from finding their one true love?

"And women are more than you allow them to be. Women can be strong, Niklaas. If given the chance, they can handle the world, maybe even handle it better than a man."

I'm pleased. This book killed me(in a good way, of course). I never expected anything but still, it gave me EVERYTHING. My heart was bursting with happiness. Before you read this, I want to give a warning. Beware of your surroundings when you read this. Or else someone would think that you totally lost it. It made me laugh out loud. I spent most of the time snickering. The book is charming in every way. By the stars, I even shed a tear or two.

A cursed prince.
A blessed princess.
A captured prince.
A prophecy.

Princess needs to reclaim her throne. She was blessed with fairy magic. But MAGIC ALWAYS COMES WITH A PRICE. You won't realize the price until your teenage hormones kicked in. She was gathering an army to fight the worst creatures Ogres who will literally eat your soul, along with a sassy prince who doesn't need compassion. And you want nothing but pull out the captured prince and comfort/protect him.

"Bravery isn't the absence of fear but the willingness to stay the course in spite of it."

With the warrior's strength, she could even tackle a mountain. With the insufferable mouth, he could make the mountain cringe. The bickerings between these two were worth reading. They will be teasing each other. And the next moment you know, they will be at each other's throats. You want to be a matchmaker just so you can pair them up. Any second you will shout just as I did: "God, just agree with her."  And to be they are so perfect.

I kind of struggled with its writing. Somehow, I was stuck up with an uncorrected copy. Maybe that's why? Apart from it, everything was extraordinary.

"You gain a piece of the person you love instead, a piece that makes you stronger and happier than you could have imagined possible."

If you want a light read, add this to your list. After all, we always don't want a charming prince. We are fine with insufferable git.
